I’m so glad that you decided to come back and keep in contact. A lot of people ask me how the sensory room that i decorae might look like. My answer to this is that it all depends on the person, the family and what it is that they want, but I have decided to attach a couple of pictures for you so you can get a more clear vision of the way they can look.<\/p>\n

Remember that a sensory room is not only beneficial for people with various disabilities, it also helps people with depression and children that suffer from a lot of anxiety or learning disabilities.<\/p>\n

Many children with learning disabilities have problems in sensory integration, to which some or all of their learning difficulties can be attributed (Hoehn and Baumeister, 1994). To use a sensory room during learning can help the child to feel more focused and find it easier to learn new things.\u00a0Research made by\u00a0Fanchaing (1996) shows that sensory integration therapy is effective.(Toronto Sensory Integration Group, 1987) talks about the importance of using a sensory room to develop the nervous system: The ability to take information through senses, organise it in the brain and they use it in daily life.<\/p>\n

\"\"For me personally using a sensory room when I struggled with mental health helped me a lot.\u00a0It made me more relaxed and my anxiety more controlled. I could step outside my comfort zone and believe in myself again. \u00a0It has taken me many years to openly talk about my own experience and what helped me, but I decided to do this so I can help other people out there. Everyones story is different but we can all share our wisdome and stand strong together.<\/p>\n

My passion for creating sensory rooms came when I realised how much they actually helped me and after doing my research I understood that it could also help other people out there. I’m super passionate about creating and decorating and I want to do great in life for other people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
