Since I started my business I have been super excited and I can really feel that I have chosen the right path, this is what I am meant to do. To provide help to people with various disabilities or remember what I prefer to say, people with different abilities.<\/p>\n

I’m so grateful that I woke up one day and I just knew what I was suppose to do.<\/p>\n

If you are new to my blog welcome and thanks for visiting.
\nI will tell you shortly what I do and what I want to achieve with building my business.<\/p>\n

After struggling with depression for many years and struggling to handle my own thoughts, I realized \"\"that I needed all the help I could get to get back on track in life. I was lucky to find a therapist who was fantastic and she had done a large number of studies. She decided to start her own clinic and each room had her own theme. My favorite room was pink and it had a big pink swing in the middle of the room and it was my favorite place to sit during our sessions. I spent 2 hours, 2 days a week with her and it helped me in so many ways. There were also some other things in the room that made me feel calm such as pink tubes with bubbles inside. (See picture) and big fluffy pillows that I could hold close.<\/p>\n

This is one of my projects
\n\"\"<\/strong><\/em>I know it sounds weird if you haven’t experienced it yourself, I sound like a child in a grown up body. But that’s nothing I’m ashamed for, that was exactly how it felt. Before I went there and got help I was always scared of what other people would think of me and I was scared of being myself. But there I could be whoever I wanted to be and I could put the gard down and relax. It wasn’t until I had a friend that had a child with autism that I started to realise how much these rooms actually help people. Not only people with disabilities or troubled mindset it can actually benefit everyone. It will help you to learn and practice mindfulness<\/strong>\u00a0so you can be aware of when you are in present moment rather than being “in your head”. Just by spending time in these rooms you will learn how to deal with your emotions in a more balanced way. You will also notice things that you don’t normally notice – sights, sounds, sensations, thoughts, textures<\/strong> etc.<\/p>\n

Have you ever been in to a sensory room? If yes, how did it make you feel and what was the reason for you going here?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I highly recommend everyone to consider to create a room like this at home or at work. Everyone can gain a lot of positive benefits from this. Your focus will increase and you will feel more calm, this is just a couple of benefits that you can gain from having access to a room like this.<\/p>\n

Thanks for reading and remember you guys are amazing and we can be whatever we want to be, it might take some time and work. But remember that if you can dream it you can do it.<\/p>\n
