How I use my Fear to make decisions.
We have all been there, facing the fear and not knowing if we should continue or stop. Lately I have studied the subject fear and I have found that it’s a good thing because it keeps us safe. The only question I ask myself is if it’s really that good to always play it safe. I believe that sometimes we really need to push and move forward in life and not play it safe to find new playgrounds.
If you ask my father he will tell you that I’m crazy ( in a good way) and that I never play it safe. But lately I have been so scared of loosing everything that matters to me that all I have done is playing it safe. I’m letting the fear  making my decisions and forming my future. I know it’s not the way that I want to live, but what do you do.
Well for me it’s easy, even if it’s actually hard… haha confused??? So am I… But this is what I do when fear is about to win I fight back. I don’t retreat, I change direction. Deep down inside I really know where I want to go and what I want to do.. therefor it’s confusing when my fear makes the decisions for me and I’m not moving forward.
I have found the love of my life, but still I’m not happy where I am in life. I know what I have to do, the hard part is doing it. People tell me that genuine and real love is hard to find, so don’t give it up, but sometimes you have to love yourself more than others. I’m not selfish, my problem is that I put all my love into loving someone so much that I forget to love myself. I’m not saying this is the end for love, love normally wins and I’m sure it will even if there is a change of direction.
So how do I use my Fear to make decisions??
Well every time I face fear I write it down on a peace of paper and then I analyse my fear. I make a list (yes I love my lists) of + and – , Normally minus is only one or two points while plus is so many… it’s just those little things that scares me and I want to run away, but I don’t let it win. I fight against my fears so hard until I win… and then the next one comes along…What If….and i repeat my process all over again.
My advice to you is to listen to your own voice, deep down inside you know what you actually want in life and you just have to get out in the world and get it. Don’t think that successful people haven’t worked hard for their success, they have worked their butt of. DOn’t give up because you are scared, keep focusing and you will get there.

Surfing has always been a big fear for me,
I try to practice and do this as often as I can,
It’s hard but at least I’m trying.Â
