I woke up this morning with something that felt like probably one of the worst kind of anxiety…I could hardly breathe and my head felt like a heavy rock..It felt like I was leaving my own body…
I stayed in bed for 20 minutes to focus on breathing and I decided to go for a run because this normally helps..
But this time it didn’t, my feet felt heavy and my thought were all over the place.. I quickly finished my run and returned home. (I only managed to run 3km today).
I knew what I needed to do and that is meditate. When I get bad anxiety it’s because I haven’t been meditating enough and I’ve been letting the little devils in my head win…
A lot of us have those little devils in our head but we never talk about them, we should..because when you talk to someone that is going through the same thing it’s easier to relate and understand each other.
Some people are so good at hiding their feelings and smile even when they don’t feel like it. Some people might say that it’s the right way to handle life, however I don’t agree. If you hide your feelings you will loose yourself in the process. Just be you and talk to others.. maybe they understand more than you think.
I hight recommend meditation if you suffer with bad anxiety because when you learn how to master it you will become a master of your own mind.
Do you suffer with bad anxiety? If YES, how do you deal with it?
