Wow it’s been a crazy start to this year and a lot of us are at a place that we didn’t expected to be. I am one of them… This is not what I pictured 2020 to be.. However I’m grateful for the beautiful people in my life.. especially my family. Without you I would be drowning and I would’t be able to continue forward.

I still have a dream, a dream bigger that anything and I will continue to work towards that dream.

Last year was also tough and I lost a person that meant a lot to me, I seriously thought that we would be forever, however he had issues that he needed to sort out and so did I…. It was the wrong timing and the decision to walk away was the right one for me.

I’m grateful for my strength during that time and I’m grateful for it now. Life isn’t always easy and sometimes a break is all we need. This isolation has been a great opportunity to take a step back and look at my life and what I really need and want.

Sometimes I feel like a failure because I live at home and I can’t move to Spain due to the pandemic, however I know that it’s just temporary. My dream of traveling again and moving to Spain will happen, it has just been paused for a little while.

The reason I tell you this is to make you understand that I know how you feel and I know what you’re going through, because I have been there myself. It’s hard and it hurts, but please don’t give up on your dreams.

I do believe that we all feel like failures now and then because we compare ourselves to the norm and what society expect of us. We look at other and believe that they have it all and that’s what we need in our own life. We chase money, that “perfect job”, the “perfect partner” etc, but the reality is that it won’t make us happier.

If we can be grateful for what we have NOW we will be more grateful for what we will receive in the future. It doesn’t matter where you are right now… because a year from now you will be at a different position if you really want to.
