Without Emotions Everything Will Crumble
I’ve cried a thousand times over the game. I have cried a thousand times over the physical pain that my body feels after a game. I have cried a thousand times over the mental conflict that I feel and I have cried a thousand times over the losses that did not feel fair or made me feel disappointed for weeks.
But I have also smiled a thousand times with friends that I have gained. I have smiled because of amazing wins and I have smiled because of the fantastic and amazing connection that I have gotten with my teammates.
Social connection is important and sport is a great way to meet new amazing people that might become lifelong friends.

To cry and feel sad is just as important to smile and be happy. Emotions are important and sport is emotional… when we win we have the right to be happy and celebrate and when we loos we have the right to be sad, disappointed and cry.
We live in a world where dreaming and expressing feeling is disrespectful. But I believe that it’s an important part in our lives. If we’re not allowed to express our feelings we will hold them inside and we will explode.
So todays advice is to let your feelings out and don’t be scared to celebrate when you win, or cry when you loose. We feel the emotions for a reason and it’s a part of who we are. Don’t change for people to like you and don’t tell people to change.
