On this day we didn’t do to much, I had a sleeping and G needed to do some work in the morning. We didn’t leave until 11am that morning, but thats was ok. Sometimes you need some relaxing time as well to get back on track. This day was another beautiful day driving through fjords and around mountains. There was a lot of tunnels during this drive and once again Norway’s landscape was impressing.

we also ended up driving through Narvik, its a nice city next to the water and they had a lot of older buildings. We also passed the Arctic Circle. The Arctic Circle is the most northerly of the five major circles of latitude as shown on maps of Earth. It marks the northernmost point at which the noon sun is just visible on the December solstice and the southernmost point at which the midnight sun is just visible on the June solstice. The region north of this circle is known as the Arctic, and the zone just to the south is called the Northern Temperate Zone.

We basically dove around the whole day enjoying the amazing landscape. In the even it was a bit hard to find somewhere to camp for free so we ended up booking a camping spot next to another amazing lake. This was a fishing camp and there was a lot of people going out on boats hoping to be lucky and catch some fish. We were very excited when we noticed that there was a fireplace that we could lighten. I never mentioned for you that we were not allowed to cook anything at all in Sweden because there was a fire bean because of extreme hot weather plus Sweden suffered from very bad bushfires all around the country. So since we were in another country (Norway) we were allowed to have a fire. Said and done, we sat next to the fire eating cheese and muse salami and drinking rose’. It was a great evening and we really enjoyed each others company.

When I went to bed G decided to stay up so he could charge his computer and his battery for his camera. I’m sure he did some work as well. (LOL).
