A game of monopoly

After having a terrible day yesterday and talking to a friend I feel much better today. I was thinking a lot yesterday and I realised that you can’t blame anyone else for your life, It’s your life and you make your own choices.
I got a funny picture in my head yesterday. Our lives are like a game of Monopoly. You gamble with money, sometimes you win and sometimes you loose. You take one step forward and two step back and sometimes you have to go back to start. You pay your bills and sometimes you can afford it sometimes you can’t. Imagine if you book that trip that you wanted to take for so long and when you finally get there it is not what you expected. Someone might steal your money or someone might mislead you, but that’s just part of the adventure.
I will share a story with you….
When I was travelling from Malaysia – Philippines someone copied my card and stole all my money. I arrived in Philippines with only the money I had in my wallet. I was freaking out and I was so scared, but I decided to not let it win. I called my amazing parents and they transferred some money to western union. It only took two days and I had all my money back on my account. (Thank good for my Swedish bank). However at this stage I didn’t have a credit card (since I had to lock it). The new card would be sent to the Swedish embassy in Perth, Australia. So to survive in Philippines for 6 days I had to borrow money from strangers with only my promise that I would pay them back as soon as I got my credit card. Surprisingly a lot of people wanted to help and I feel very blessed. As promised as soon as I got my hands on my credit card I transferred money to every person that helped me out. (I did give them an extra $20 each).
I believe in karma, what you give you will receive. I always try to help people when I can and I have always been blesses to get help when I need. With this is will go out and have an amazing day.

XOXO
