From The Other Side

When I first moved down to Australia I had a picture in my head of how Australia would be as a country. But I can tell you it’s very different.

* The kangaroos are not running around everywhere

* There is No snakes and spiders visible on streets, you actually have to go into the forest to see them. You can see them in cities to, but it’s very rare.

* The Koala is not easy to spot in the wild and it’s not called “Koala Bear” (Hahahaha). I was sure Koala Bear was the name of this beautiful animal.

* Crocodiles only lives up in the Northerns part of Australia

* Australian drinks a lot, after checking the statistics I found out that they drink 1.7 billion litres of beer/year. That = approx. 680 bottles per person.

* Australia has the largest number of purebred camels in the world

* Indigenous Australians =  Aboriginal. Their culture is the oldest culture on Earth.

* And last, They don’t eat kangaroo meat for dinner all the time. They do have other food as well.

This was all the fun fact that I have found out after living in Australia for almost 6 years.

If you can think of something else please leave a comment or send me a message.

XOXO
